Physical Projects/Partners

Physical Projects – Building Hope, Brick by Brick

ACWF is actively involved in hands-on development projects within our partner institutions. These projects focus on infrastructure, education, and community upliftment, with a strong emphasis on child welfare. They are excellent opportunities for volunteers, donors, and partners to make a direct and lasting impact.

Each project brings our supporters into close, meaningful contact with local communities and children who benefit from improved living and learning conditions.

📍 Kwangao Primary School—Rombo, Kilimanjaro Region

Our long-standing partner in Rombo, Kwangao Primary School, is a rural school in need of key infrastructure support. ACWF is working to create a safe, clean, and motivating learning environment through the following initiatives:

  2. Kitchen & Dining Hall—Currently in the design phase.

  3. School Beautification—Painting, ceiling boards, and translucent lighting sheets. Half the school is now painted thanks to donors from Sweden and local sponsors.

  4. Electricity Connection—Essential for modern learning and technology use; still at the planning stage.

  5. Library & Computer Lab—Space is available; we’re seeking sponsors for furnishing, books, and equipment.

  6. Furniture Provision—Functional desks and classroom furniture are needed.

📍 Children of Destiny HomeMoshi Town

Just 15 minutes from our Moshi HQ, this independent orphanage is a heartfelt project run by Margaret Mponda, a determined young Tanzanian woman who selflessly cares for 24 children aged 5–16. After a split from previous sponsors, the home is in great need of renewed support.

Ways to Get Involved:

  4. Property Ownership—Assist the home in transitioning from a rented space to a permanent facility.

  5. Income-Generating Projects—We’re exploring sustainable projects to ensure long-term independence and reduce donor reliance.
